Peruvian presence impacted at the ITB Berlin fair

The Peruvian delegation took part in the international tourism exhibition ITB 2017 to promote the Inca country as the best adventure and nature destination and to present the begginning of operations of the Kuelap cable car, Peru’s Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) announced.

It should be said German arrivals in Peru have increased steadily over the past five years, posting an annual growth rate of 7%.

Potential travelers choose Peru as their holiday destination for three primary reasons: its culture, nature and adventure, according to latest Foreign Tourist Profile, produced by PromPeru.

Comprised of 36 co-exhibitor companies, the group held work meetings with major tour operators to identify new promotional opportunities and coordinate joint actions to promote the Andean nation in Germany and other European markets.

Likewise, PromPeru was awarded the second prize for Best Exhibitor among Latin American and Caribbean countries, thanks to its stall’s design, original proposal and service provided to attendees.

Fairgoers were provided with destinations-related information, as well as a brochure on nature and adventure across different regions in Peru.
They also enjoyed the Peru 360 Experience, a plethora of exciting virtual reality videos featuring Peruvian destinations. Peruvian presence impacted at the ITB Berlin fair.
